Your question is a bit too general to answer, except to answer in general, i.e., eat fresh--fresh meats and fish and eggs and fats and veggies are relatively low carb versus packaged/prepared foods in general.

1230 sounds a wee bit low. How much do you weight? Whats your height? Whats your daily activity like (house chores? desk job? workouts etc.)

Ahh, ok. Here is a great general resource: http://genaw.com/lowcarb/recipes.html

Since most veggies are low carb, I'm guessing the hard part is finding veggie protein sources that don't boost up the carbs?
Eggs are at the top of the list (<1 gm carb per egg), if you eat them. But that's not a vegetable.
Nuts have fewer carbs per volume than beans, (even chestnuts, which are high-carb for a nut).
Here is a list comparing beans: http://www.slowcarbfoodie.com/2011/07/23/what-kind-of-beans-should-i-eat-the-great-slow-carb-bean-index/--But it isn't just the raw number of carbs, it is the number of carbs per amt of protein.
I added to her table a column giving the ratio of protein-to-carbs, and that put soy beans, black-eyed peas, and lentils to the top of the list.

In india main staple food is rice. If i want to increase calories or cover upto mfp level, carb level is increasing. But with 1230 cal per day, i m being active not hungry and doing 30min yoga 5days a week.
