Hey everyone!!
Anyone here done the master cleanse or tried the drink? It's the water with lemon cayenne pepper and maple syrup detox...
Do you think I would see results If I maintained my low carb diet ate all my meals but began the day drinking about 16oz of this Instead of black coffee with sugar? I also workout for about 45 mins to an hour everyday burning around 450 calories...
And I drink around 8 to 10 cups of water everyday
Other suggestions are greatly appreciated

The Master Cleanse involves drinking syrup and lemonade for days at a time, with no food to supplement. It is not a diet, it is a complete cessation of food. It is not recommended.
Here is one poster's experience with it.

This is a terrible idea. Maintain a moderate calorie deficit, exercise and be patient. That is what works.0

It's the poster child for bad ideas.
Eat at a reasonable calorie deficit, get your fiber, drink your water, watch your macros, and exercise.
If you're hitting a wall, then you're probably eating too much. Buy a food scale and use it religiously.0 -
Think all of you missed the part where she mentioned eating her normal meals, but replacing coffee with this.
It definitely won't do you any harm if you do it that way, it is probably a little better than coffee, but I doubt it will make a significant change to your weight0 -

Nope.
Read that.
I also know that the lurkers will be reading this and that this "diet" shouldn't be given any serious attention.

Exactly what do you expect this to do? For one thing, coffee has actual health benefits, the Master Cleanse is pretty much the opposite of health benefits. So you want to replace something healthy with something horrible. Hey, whatever you want to do.0

Better than coffee?! Never! OP, drink your coffee, eat at a deficit, and remember that all of the diets and drinks that are out there put people at a calorie deficit, which is why people seem to think they work.
However, if you love peppery honey lemonade more than coffee, you may like it0 -

Yeah, I do agree with you, but hopefully most people have the common sense not to do it without food. (I know, I'm expecting too much)
But yeah, stand by what I said, doubt this will benefit weight loss in any way.
Better is for want of a better word, only because I personally like my coffee very sweet so it is more of a hindered than anything haha0
