I am brand new and a Laura Sanchez has made a friend request on a couple of my apps here. No face profile pic and no data on activity. Should I just ignore this person and is there a potential for something nefarious on these apps?
I have no idea about either questions, but I do know if you stick around the forums long enough you will see this .gif a ton.

Its good practice to request a credit report from anyone who has requested you as a friend. The more you know, the safer you are against nefarious practices. Although, be wary as a credit report will not tell you if the person is a vegan. I have been fooled before. Its not something I like to talk about.15

Yes, it is ok to avoid the forums and friend requests. The only time you actually have to participate is when you check the little agreement box for MFP Premium. Most people in premium don't know that they have also given away the naming rights to their first born child. Read the small print, people!!3 -
