Loss of body fat

Hi All! I have been eating healthy (low carb) and exercising for the past 1 and half months and I am noticing fat loss by my measurements and the way some of my clothes are fitting. I have noticed a loss in my neck, legs, hips, thighs, butt and the width of my shoulder and upper chest areas. However, I still feel the same in my waist and stomach. Has anyone loss fat in a lot of places first, before noticing it in the stomach and waist? I am hoping I will eventually see some progress in the other two areas. Maybe I am losing some fat in the stomach, but just don't feel or see it yet. I don't know. Thanks!

I've lost 50 pounds and my pants are the same size.
Some has come off my stomach but not much. It's normal I think.2 -
I've lost about 55 pounds, and I have seen much bigger changes in my hips, chest, back, arms, legs, etc than my waist. I am now down in the healthy weight category, but still have quite a bit of fat left in the belly area. I have about 10-12 pounds to go to my goal and I probably have another 3 inches to lose around the waist. Just starting to see some muscle definition in the ab area.
Seems pretty normal based on other posts here... Keep up the great work!1 -

For me I didn't feel or notice the loss in my belly until I looked at photos, then I could see a difference. And I still have to glance at the photos now and then to remind me of the progress, so even if you never share them I recommend some selfies to mark progress on the journey.0 -

I appreciate your post! Sounds like you are doing great! Can't wait to start seeing the fat in the back going too. It probably is, but I sometimes can't tell, but then sometimes I feel like I see a slight difference.0 -

I am so bad with taking the pictures on a regular basis. I will need to tomorrow. I am the type of body that the fat is spread everywhere evenly, (except belly), toes all the way up to forehead LOL. I probably am losing belly fat, but just don't see it by looking, since there is more of it in the one area. Thanks for the reminder about the selfies!2
