Hi all! I'm struggling with feeling "soft" after I began training for sprint triathlons. I've been lifting weights for about 18 months and felt great. Once I amped up my cardio (while keeping weight training the same) I felt less toned. Overall my diet hasn't changed.any suggestions?

Has the weight lifted decreased or is this just a feeling?
Perhaps you’re retaining s little water due to the new exercise program.
Triathlon training helps me build definition & strength, even though I have to back off weight training somewhat while doing so.0 -
I stick to compound lifts - squats, benchpress, deadlifts, rows mostly and do a little bit of isolation work, mostly triceps.

Perhaps up your protein intake. Lift heavy a couple of times a week. Eat enough cals and see a trainer for advice0
