I am a 41 year old male who has let his health go about 8 years ago. I have recently signed up and started taking Jujitsu with my daughter. Looking for others to help keep the motivation going. I weigh 227 now and would like to be 180 again..

Hello and welcome to MFP! I'm a female and a 'bit' older (52), but I have about 30lbs to lose. I've been on MFP for over a year and it's awesome! There are a lot of tools on here to help you change your lifestyle for the better and to get healthy again.
I'd be happy to help you along. A lot of my pals have already lost their weight and I'm kind of starting over again due to illness, injuries and prednisone, not to mention the excessive amounts of food I shoved into my mouth! I initially lost 40lbs and and now I'm down to -17 and could use some more support myself.
