Shin Splints !!

Usually my 2nd day of running for the week, I will get bad shin splints. Hurts like a sUm *kitten*! Is there anything that I can do to help?

    Depending on what's causing them. Couple things to consider would be if you have proper fitted running shoes, and if you are doing too much too soon. Those tend to be the main culprits. I'm sure others will have more suggestions.

    I had shin splints after Boot Camp. I incorporated several of the exercises below into my yoga warmups and have been doing them for decades. Between that, good shoes, and walking on surfaces less hard than pavement, I haven't had a problem, oh, this century. (However, I am a walker rather than a runner.)
