NSV: My second Mud Run

So, I hate running. I mean, I HATE running....but if you throw in something fun like mud and obstacles, I will tolerate the running to play in the dirt and climb all over. So last Sunday, myself and 3 friends did a Mud Hero Mud Run, 6km, and 16 obstacles. We didn't run it all, heck we probably didn't even run half of it. I am the "slow poke" in the group plus a very warm day and running up the side of a ski resort took it's toll on me, but they all (except one) waited for me patiently, throwing their times, to stay part of the team. We were the Cohesive Cowgirls.
I feel like I am fitter than I look, and I think that surprises people. Here is a "before I lost weight" picture, and a couple of pictures from our Mud Run last weekend.

Wow! Many congratulations on 72 pounds lost! It definitely shows. And, congratulations on participating in the mud run. I love the name "Cohesive Cowgirls"! Keep up with the work that you are doing and you will be even more fit for your next run. Well done!0

Thanks We had an OUTSTANDING time. I really do have some of the most awesome friends. The one that forged ahead had been a runner last summer, and had quit, so he wanted to push himself to see what he could do. I don't blame him at all.
Our Mud Running season is about over, due to winter approaching, but next year we are going to kick butt at every mud run we can get to!!0
