Nice!! I remember writing them a fan letter (I was just a teen and they only had one album out) and they sent me tons of photocopied newspaper articles and stuff, when they started getting attention. Still like Blind Melon. RIP Shannon Hoon.

I like anything 90's and lots of Indie stuff, throw in some country old and new, some hip hop, pretty much anything but I always end back up on my 90's and Indie stations.

    NIN
    The Fratellis
    They Might be Giants
    Arctic Monkeys
    The Killers
    Modest Mouse
    The Strokes
    Arcade Fire
    Muse
    R.E.M.
    RHCP
    Presidents of the United States

Just a few off the top of my head :)

eta: The Civil Wars, totally under-rated and mostly unheard of but def worth a listen, as well as The Fratellis.

Friends often tell me that they love get togethers at my place because they never know what kind of background music they are going to get.

i like exclusively playing sad slow music because the ones who stick around are the real deal

    That’s genius

    Tool
    Foo Fighters
    Breaking Benjamin
    Incubus
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
    Soundgarden
    Alice in Chains
    Screaming Trees

But I go all over the place....my listening behavior follows my mood.....it's a bit neurotic like that.
