Fellow disabled friends! What are your goals?

I'm 30, have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and fibromyalgia. My disability and stress of work helped me go up to 206lbs, am now trying to get back to 140-150.

    Hey!

I am 31, and I have OA, fibro, and PTSD. I hit my highest weight in dec 2018 of 248, and I just hit my -30 lb loss mark (yay!). My goal weight is 175 which I hope to hit next year sometime.

My priority though is to just feel better and love myself more.

I am 56 and have osteoarthritis in multiple joints. I am about to undergo my 7th knee surgery a total knee replacement in january and have to lose 20 pounds before december 10. I started at 275 last year got down to around 220 gained back to 253 and now am down around 8 pounds. My ultimate goal would to reach my goal weight of around 150 pounds if not that get under 200 pounds and go from there.

Hello! I have a rare genetic connective tissue disorder called Alport Syndrome. I have a 19 year old kidney transplant and wear bilateral hearing aids to "treat" it. I was recently diagnosed with non-specific loose connective tissue all over, which 1. explains sooooo much and 2. has caused osteoarthritis in most of my major joints to varying degrees by the age of 40 (started ages ago, though). Also, migraines, parathyroid disease, and anxiety. I'm tired and I hurt.

Because of my kidney transplant, I've never been over 170 lbs at 5'6" ish, and have mostly stayed under 150, which is where my blood pressure starts rising. The kidney has always come first. I limit my medications to just the essentials, which means very occasional pain meds. My current goal is building functional strength, so I can prevent being a ward of the state for as long as possible. I have no family, no lover, and few friends to look out for me if I get worse.

I've seen 4 different physical therapists this year. I look good, which definitely helps with motivation. Currently around 135 and doing my PT exercises at home a few nights a week. I feel worse when I can't do them. Had to buy all new underwear because my shape has changed so much. Still tired, though.

I am 55 and have RA, sjogrens and bipolar. My highest weight was 262 pounds. I lost 55 pounds. I have been experiencing a manic episode with my bipolar disorder the last while. I have gained 6 pounds. I am taking meds which screw around with your serotonin levels. I seem to be really hungry at night. My goal until I get off these short term meds is to try and maintain my current weight. I also am trying to be more active.

@lois1231 I had a knee replacement 3 years ago. It makes a big difference.
