Help me with a gym routine? Pretty please?

I started using the gym a while ago, but with little structure and knowledge about what I was doing, really. I need a workout plan that will work pretty much like a tick list, and so I know exactly what each bit of equipment I'm using is working. Without something like this I'm never going to get anywhere!
I want to lose weight, of course, but I'm very conscious of toning my thighs, arms and back too. I genuinely haven't a clue what to do, how to start, what each strength station does and how much time or how many reps to do etc.
I had a free mini-discussion with a PT when I first joined which was awesome (but something I cannot afford to commit to).
I would LOVE any advice in helping me put something together for myself. It's driving me nuts. I've googled and read up a million things, but it all assumes I know this, that and the other already, or advice always conflicts.
If you're curious I use The Gym Group, and their equipment list is on their site (I'm not sure we're allowed to link on this forum?), so that's what is available to me.
Any advice however small will be greatly appreciated, I feel so overwhelmed!
Thank you! xx

I'm no expert by any means... but the way I do it is I do cardio for 30-60 minutes first. I switch up between the differentmachines available for this. The bike, the treadmill, eliptical, arc trainer. If you're just starting... and can only do 15 minutes... thats fine. Your endurance will improve. Then I use the weight training machines. You can ask oneof the workers at the gym to show you around and give you a lesson on how each one works. I'll add as much weight as I can without it being too heavy where I totally struggle. I'll do 3 sets of 12 on each machine. One day I'll do all the upperbody machines. The next day lower body. Hope this helps some.0

I love to do Jillian's 30DS and RI30 for circuit training. It strengthens muscles all over and incorporates cardio and abs. You don't even need the gym:)0
