To get healthier and stronger.2

I lose weight so slowly but exercise burns up calories so I am motivated to hit the gym 3 or 4 times a week. I usually ride a recumbent bike. Sometimes walk on a treadmill or do some weight machines.2

I actually, truly, honestly love lifting weights. I get really down without it, and I absolutely dread rest days.2

retirement, gives me a social life. But seriously I have always loved it, aroebic, zumba classes, biking, hiking, just that type. Always had a weight problem so I knew it would help, scared not to.0

Necessitated tactical fitness readiness, borne out of the realities of political violence. Unfortunately, it matters not if you're a child, are pregnant or in your 70s, hate is real, so by deduction, I'd rather be a more than able-bodied far from a liability individual, if I'm to ever be caught in heightened levels of volatility again.
Favourite form of exercise is a difficult one for me, so I've asked my sister, whose known me for the longest time - tolerating my madness with exercise - Favourite form of exercise for my psyche it's strength training.
- Favourite form of exercise for my sense of calm and harmony - it's yoga.
- Favourite form of exercise for the real me - it's cardio-centric, be it an activity or an actual routine.

For walking/jogging, my dog motivates me - she really lets me know if we haven't been out enough lately. LOL.
For my chosen strength exercises (reformer pilates), it's just that I love it. I always book at least a couple of classes in advance, so I know when I am next going.1 -
Briefly,
1) So I can enjoy life to the fullest.
2) I don’t enjoy exercise so I do what is needed to get the best out of my none exercise goal at the time.
Oh, and lifting, need muscle strength even for raising a glass of wine after snorkeling .
Big picture, so I grow old with wild abandon.
Cheers, h.8 -
To keep my blood sugars and A1C totally where they need to be. And it helps me sleep better, the best cure for insomnia I have found. May sound odd, but I do within an hour of going to bed.
45 minutes on recumbent bike 6 days a week. Working on strength training via PT for now.2 -
I actually have always hated exercise in most forms. However have been loving kickboxing intense work out in 30 min and so much stress gone1

Favorite exercises: Weight training and biking.3 -
I need some motivation to exercise lately!!!! I think I’m struggling more so with it because I’m losing weight by just counting calories so my mindset is that!! Ugh0

Reasons I exercise:
1) muscles are sexy
2) better sleep (I'm an insomniac)
3) migraine reduction
4) I like feeling strong
5) Add years to my life
6) Lessens stress/anxiety/depression
Favorite exercise:
Hiking! I love being outside in nature-- it improves my perspective (life is so much bigger than me and my problems). I often carry my 1.5 year old in a backpack (35lbs) and use hiking poles to give my arms a workout.

Hiking is the best honestly I love hiking but my knee has been bugging me for some time now so I can’t hike but I’m recovering so hopefully I’ll go hiking soon

Reason 1 thru 100-
My inherent fear of getting fat again
101.To ward off diseases that run in my family
102. I refuse to buy bigger size clothes
103. It makes me feel better mentally & physically
104. I like to eat so I gotta but the calories off

I like to look nice, and I like to feel good. If I can do that by watching what I eat and working out, I don't think that's too high of a price to pay. I also have a stressful commute - and working out when I get home helps.1

My dogs are my motivation. I started my journey walking for exercise, and walked my dog. Got a second dog, and she thought those daily walks were normal. As my journey progressed, the length of my walks became longer, my terrain changed over to the back woods, and I became a hiker. With dogs. Lost the first dog, let me second pick out her next buddy, and again, the new dog thought those hikes were normal. Found a third dog back in the forest, and now, between the 3 of them, I can't miss a day. Some days I'll cut it short at an hour or a little more, but usually, it's 2 or more hours of hiking. (Though I count it on my apps as walking, they just give way too many calories for hiking! lol) So... my dogs are both my inspiration and my motivation.2

Speeding up weight loss. I'm running.0

Doing active things I think are so much fun I'd do them even if they weren't good for me. #1 is on-water rowing, which I do 4 days a week in season. I don't much love machine rowing, but I do it in Winter so I can jump right back into on-water rowing with full enthusiasm when the weather warms up. On the same principle, I throw in spin class twice a week all year, because it's pretty fun (not as much as rowing), helps me stay in shape for rowing, and now that I'm kinda older with some physical issues (63, with torn meniscus and some mild osteoarthritis), I'm better off not rowing 6 days a week, even though I could. (I'm a believer in one rest day each week, though it can be active rest.)0

Being better than I was yesterday.
Gotta go with basic calisthenics & flutter kicks to failure.1 -
My motivation is to continue to maintain and improve mobility given me by two hip replacements this year and improve my labwork results so much that it causes my doctor to consider changing professions 😉😊 My favored exercise (so far) is walking, PT exercises in pool and pool walking.3
