You can do it! I love seeing so many folks close to my age here. I'm almost 59 and have been on MFP for over 5 years, lost 30 lbs pretty quickly, and am maintaining...sort of. I'd like to take off the last 8 or so lbs again. It's very doable, but it hasn't become effortless, at least for me. I'll never forget what a difference losing those first 15 lbs made to how I felt--so much less pain in my feet, so much more agility, energy, even mental clarity. It's all worth it! I'm planning to really work at it in January before taking a trip to Asia at the end of the month. Anyone who is regular about posting and sharing and commenting, feel free to add me.2
