No more dieting for us! Dunk that pound cake in nacho cheese and pass it this way! Dr. Patricia Quinlisk, director of the Iowa Department of Public Health, issued a warning after an Iowa woman admitted she swallowed a tapeworm to lose weight: “Ingesting tapeworms is extremely risky and can cause a wide range of undesirable side effects, including rare deaths.” Quinlisk did admit, however, that the woman’s risky choice would be theoretically effective: "Tapeworms will cause you to lose weight because you have this huge worm in your intestines eating your food." Ding ding ding, that’s all we need to hear! Excuse us while we run and get a family-size pan of lasagna. Also, do you know where we can find a tapeworm?

    Sure, just explain to anyone considering this that sometimes the baby worms trying to get out of your body get confused about which exit to use.....

    In my experience that visual puts a stop to any student considering this as a weight loss option in my class.

    shes not thinking this through...i mean yeah, she'll lose weight, but a tapeworm wont change your body composition. She needs to lift heavy.

    this is just the "lose scale weight at all costs" mentality amplified a bit

    if people understood about nutrition and body composition, no way would they even consider this and they'll also understand why the master cleanse diet and other ridiculously low calorie crash diets are almost as bad as swallowing a tapeworm

    but if all you want is to lose scale weight no matter what, a chainsaw can lose you a lot of scale weight in a matter of minutes.

    Truthfully, this is an serious issue in my country. You can get pills online without really trying too much.
