What unexpected places have you found yourself applying your MFP tools and skills?

... A year ago I found a chipmunk with a broken spine and decided to keep her. *Apparently* chipmunks have different dietary needs from other types of rodents and you can't readily get "chipmunk chow" at the pet store.
I keep using my food scale to track her weight, and I bake all her rodent blocks from scratch with the required dietary alterations for squirrels so she can stay healthy.
It's just so random, but I'm curious as to what strange places you've all found yourself applying your acquired food/nutrition/fitness knowledge now that you have it?

@CoffeeAndContour I couldn't say no. She's super sassy and a little bit bitey and I've fallen in love with all 3 oz of opinionated little fuzz-butt.2
