What do you do to unplug?

Just curious to know what everybody does to unplug from your day.

I know for me I go in a couple hours early to my full-time job so I can take an extended run over my lunch.

But that's just unplugging for the sake of my fitness. I guess I'm curious to know what folks enjoy doing.

I love going and finding new spots to eat and drink. My family in the city loves to support local too so they're constantly looking for new places to check out.

I don't drink anymore, but I'm happily the DD every time. Personally, I love to unplug doing anything woodworking, especially wood turning.

Would love to hear what you do....

    Wish I could play.

Started trying long ago. Helps if you can read music, which I didn't really ever learn. I'm a self-taught drummer who can make some racket at best, but I love music, so yeah, I'm jealous. 🤣😂

    Very cool. 😎🤘

Great pic. So serene. I'm sure I don't do that kind of thing enough. What kind of dogs?

Ours is an old Boxer/Sharpei mix rescue they had named Hooch. He's the most chill dog I've ever seen.....😂🤣

Mine are two rescues. A pomeranian spaniel mix and a maltese who the heck knows mix. I've been involved in rescue for over 30 years now and have had more than a few great dogs as a result. I'm blessed.

    Hooch sounds great, interesting mix.

Wow! That's a great list. I know several that crochet. It's pretty amazing to see what they create.....and knitting, that's kind of other level to me.

Glad to hear there are still many who pass that on. Good for you!

    Oh, and what's Magic Arena?

Work days I come home and sit for a bit and enjoy the quiet, maybe have a drink, then shower, go for a walk and listen to music if I can, come home and read.

Weekends and days off, I like to sleep in, even if I can't sleep, just lay and think (until it turns bad), then I have a cup of tea and "window shop/price compare" for a bit, ideally go for a run and then clean.
I like to cook a nice dinner on my days off. Manicure, hair treatment...make myself feel "pretty".
Evenings are the same...enjoy quiet, go for a walk and listen to music and read. Sometimes watch a movie.

Friday nights I try to buy myself a "treat". Lately it's been some tabouli salad from one of the fancy grocery stores...livin large!

Man, that just sounds ultra chill. Awesome!
