Is this weird?

I dislike my body shape so much because I feel it looks like a cone. I know I don’t have a waist but I feel I don’t have hips at all. I feel I have very skinny legs and a small butt. But when I sit down I feel I have curves. Does this happen to everyone? What can I do to build curves? See the pictures below.

I like my body when it’s sitting down although I wish I didn’t have any stomach fat, but am I never gonna look like the second picture? I die for hips like that but idk what to do anymore.0

You still have some weight to lose and your shape is going to change proportionally.
Keep it going. I don't look anything like I did when I had weight left to lose. Of course the suggestion is always, "Start a progressive weight lifting program." That way you can work on enhancing your glutes, for example.

Do you think I look like a cone or that my hips are narrowed?cmriverside wrote: »You still have some weight to lose and your shape is going to change proportionally.

You will likely see a lot of shifting with your shape as you lose weight. I do not think you look like a cone nor do I think your hips are narrow.1

When I put on weight it's in my middle and my bust. Some people put on weight in the bottom part of their bodies.
It's just a genetic difference. When you lose more weight, you're going to look much different. I used to look very top-heavy and large around the middle. I don't have much hips or glutes, either. I look much more proportional now, and have a defined waist, smaller bust and my hips therefore look bigger in proportion.
Keep going. You're a beautiful woman, and with some weight loss I think you'll be very happy with the way it turns out.4 -
These are how my glutes look sideways but I think it’s just my hips. Take a look.cmriverside wrote: »JanetReyna wrote: »Do you think I look like a cone or that my hips are narrowed?cmriverside wrote: »You still have some weight to lose and your shape is going to change proportionally.

Thanks girl. I am 9 weeks pregnant though but I’m feeling I’m looking more heavy too and I wish I was big from my bottom.ChelleDee07 wrote: »You will likely see a lot of shifting with your shape as you lose weight. I do not think you look like a cone nor do I think your hips are narrow.

Well, you've posted several times now about wanting glutes. I'm no body pro but I think you're going to have a really nice shape. Just keep going and keep doing your regular weight-lifting.
No sense worrying over it so much.
edit/cross-posted with your last post. Good luck on the pregnancy, and I hope you can just enjoy this time of your life. There's Really No Sense Worrying over it!!

That's how pregnancy works. The good news is that pregnancy is notorious for changing the shape of women's body regardless of weight/size. At this point you shouldn't worry about your hips and characterizing your shape. Just focus on staying healthy.3 -

You can't change certain things about your body shape, but you can change how you dress for it. For example, the skinny legs of the jeans you are wearing in your pic is contributing to the so-called "cone" look you think you have.
Take care of yourself and baby. Use this time to stay healthy and appreciate what your body is capable of!3 -

My legs are skinny right now so once I have my baby I’m gonna try and get them thick. I think I am capable of changing my shape cus I have fat on top. So if I lose that weight and add muscle in my lower I’ll look different1 -

I'm not sure whether you realise it or not but your body is going to change shape dramatically over the next 7 months or so.
Talk to your doctor about what you should / can do or not.1 -
