Your Friday Night

I’m sitting here talking to my mom and sharing how disappointed I am when I hear how people waste their Friday nights going out to eat dinners and watch movies. They should be exercising and preparing for a weekend of fitness.

Having fun Friday night will not bring you rainbows and sunshine!

I walked to the fridge. That's plenty of exercise.

I’m not sure where you live but I might suggest a walk down to the yogurt shop in San Pedro. You can get your steps in

I'm meal prepping, hand measuring macros and analyzing fitness videos & game film online, preparing for a 4AM training session of heavy weights and soul crushing cardio.

I’m drinking a bottle of wine. Each time I lift my glass for a drink if is the equivalent of a bicep curl. Pretty sure this is a fact.

I hope others would follow your example of how to spend your Friday night.

Since you’re getting up at 4 AM I would suggest getting a good nights sleep and going to bed early tonight.

I shared your response with my mother because I was confused but she said you’re joking. But any bicep curl is beneficial so glad you’re doing that.

    Yes.

I aim for a solid 10 hours of sleep, but I do set my alarm for 1AM, just to drink an extra protein shake and then brush my teeth again before catching a couple more hours of quality shuteye.

I'm breastfeeding and rocking a newborn. No sleep here either. :)

I’m not familiar with breast-feeding but doesn’t the rocking cause the breastmilk to develop air bubbles which could cause your newborn to burp?

She’s always supported me and wants me to look my best. She’s getting the blackheads out of my back tonight so I can workout without a shirt tomorrow

My friend who had a very rough week came over and I made her all the food and we had all the Margaritas. Her soul feels happy, even if it's just for a second. I would give up my food prep or any gym time just to make her happy..and that's exactly what I did.

Since you’re not the best example for your friend to have rainbows and sunshine in her life tell her to be my friend and I can get her down the road to a healthy lifestyle that doesn’t include all the food and dangerous alcohol.

I accompanied my husband to his 20 year high school reunion kickoff party. It was not particularly thrilling. Everyone was staring/squinting at me and my friend (there with her husband also) trying to figure out if they knew us, but we graduated 4 years earlier and in another state. That was amusing.

Watched an old movie (like 1940s old), made some popcorn, went to bed early...my ideal Friday night... :|

While getting reacquainted with old classmates is good from a social perspective it really does nothing for your health. You should’ve looked for an opportunity to find a place to do some lunges and squats while you were there.

I was out to dinner @RevGym2
    I have failed you
And I crushed my knee while lunging my way to bed trying to make up for the lack of trails

I need to show you my video on how to do lunges correctly so you won’t hurt your knees
