What is your opinion on muscle memory do you agree or disagree that one you take a year or two break and then get back into it your muscle growth will be faster this time then it was last time?

You will never gain muscle faster than when you first start training and benefited from newbie gains. I remember when I first started working out, it seemed like for a year I was adding size and strength every workout or two.
Taking long extended breaks will definitely prime your muscles for them to grow again but there are ways of pushing past plateaus that do not require taking a calendar year or two off.1
