Hi Everyone,

I'm guessing I may not be alone. I have one of those body types that likes to settle at a weight much higher than it should be and I'm constantly struggling to get my weight down, then I have a break and put it all back on.

I think I'm doing it all wrong. I should be changing my lifestyle rather than my diet.

So I joined a good gym with everything I need. I've had a few personal training sessions now and I'm trying to concentrate on my weakness - FOOD !!.

I would love to hear form other people who are trying to lose the fat but keep the muscle mass so I can get an idea if I am on the right track. For reference I'm Male, 45, 180cm, 106kg. 30% fat, medium build. I'm fairly active and cycle to work at least once a week (50km round trip). I'm in the Chadwell Heath area and my gym is in Gidea Park (David Llyod).

Stuart
