Hello, I’m a 30 year old girl who was just diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes this week. Still at the hospital and I’m looking for a community as this is new to me. I’m told I’d have to lose weight and that might be a challenge.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Spend some time reading the message boards. I'd suggest that you join some challenges. Also, start off slowly in terms of weight loss. Maybe just aim to lose weight every month, then increase that to every 3 weeks. Many people stop losing weight because working on it day after day is "too hard", and gain a little. After a month or two, they restart and end up losing the same weight multiple times.0
