Hi there,
I am exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old baby. I would like to lose about 30 lbs. I was told by a friend that on MyFitnessPal there was a setting for to account for breastfeeding in the nutrition area, although I cannot find it. Does anyone know where I might find this option? Are there any other exclusively breastfeeding moms on here?
Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, I breastfed before. I didn’t see that option either. Send MFP a message and ask them? 👍1

There is no setting. Some women just set their goal to maintenance and let the breastfeeding create the deficit. People have also created entries in the food database for breastfeeding to enter a negative calorie intake to their diary.3

You have to add it in as a "food". Search for breastfeeding and it will pop up and take those calories away. For example: every day I add breastfeeding to my snacks section which automatically take out 500 calories from my total.0
