Adapting recipes for a multicooker (Cleverchef)

I have a fear of heat which has really limited what I can and cannot do in the kitchen. I was recently given a Cleverchef multicooker. I've been doing some simple recipes that came with the recipe book to break me in. I've had a few "moments" but at least I can use it, unlike a hob which is impossible for me.

Anyway, backstory out of way, I'd like to branch out and try some other things. But as the recipes, I have were not written for a multicooker specifically, I'm unsure how I'd start to adapt them or if I could.

As an example, I want to try this Diet-Coke Chicken recipe out. Browning the chicken is fine - the cooker has a setting for that. It's the boiling where I'm confused as to where I'd go. I'm not sure what would be defined as low, medium, high heat.

I'd welcome advice on the attached recipe but any general advice would be welcome.
