STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP FOR YOUR BAD DAYS! Bad days build better days. Life has it's peaks and valleys - highs and lows... you can't live at the mountaintop. You'll run out of air. Sometimes you need to come down... let yourself breathe.
Regroup. Reset. Keep on truckin'. You'll be back at the top before you know it.

Whenever I have what I perceive to be a bad day, all I have to do is think back to any day prior to 2019. Those were pretty much all bad days when I could not do a fraction of what I can now because of awful, unreplaced hips. That feeling goes away pretty quick. A piece of advice I would give is, be careful to whom you share (or whine about, pointing to me) your bad days. There is always a chance the person you are talking to has had worse days. A brother put mine in perspective at family gathering a couple years back: "So, you've got troubles? Have you had a heart attack recently? Have you had a cancerous kidney removed?" I had no answer. What's worse is I knew all this while talking about my bad days.5

Great advice! I had a tough week last week and managed to regroup. I could always be bedridden again so each day I'm in less pain and healthier is a win!1

I agree, I treat bad days as practice for better days in the future. I always make sure to reflect on the day to figure out why I struggled so much to meet my goal, and then use that for future days.0
