Wheelchair bound but not for ever!!

It is very difficult to find a program such as this that caters (oo funny) for disabled or semi disabled people.
Because believe it or not "we" have just as main"portly" people in this group.
I have been wheelchair-bound for the last 2& half years, but from the day I left the hospital, I have exercised in one way or another. It was imperative otherwise I would have lost all hope and muscle.
But low/to no carb is the easiest to do, (but the hardest because I suspect I am addicted to bread) plus I have changed plate size (fish plate and side plate only)
I just wish there were other disabled or semi-disabled people I could communicate with; so I have started a Wellness Support Group in the retirement village I live in. They are all abled but still, this may be good.
First meeting this Thursday. It is the trust to build up first and house rule.. what is done or talked about in this house stays in the house. then soon we will be brave enough to weigh in front of each other.
So that's me, from SA. & again I enjoy this software
