Trying to be better

Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while. Decided it's finally time to start posting & being more proactive.
Long story short - I'm really not that overweight (technically, I'm at the high end of normal), but I'd like to tone up & take better care of my body. The problem is I have a tendency to not care/track what I eat, and when I do, I get overly restrictive (actually had to go talk to my doctor about this because my mom thought I had an eating disorder, doctor said I just have "eating disorder tendencies" and I need to watch myself to keep it from becoming a full blown eating disorder). So I'm hoping that with time and patience, and a little help from everyone here, I'll learn to take care of my body instead of swinging between restricting and bingeing, and work my way to the body I've always wanted without hurting myself.
