I’ve moved to a new country, just ate it all and it was good.

I think my topic title lays out my problem pretty clearly. I did eat my way through my new country of Japan because I’m one of those people that loves new foods. No control. That’s okay I’ve made my peace with it. I’d like to make friends with others who are stuggling to find a way to eat healthy and adjust to making good habits in a new home. I’ve gotten back to working out and now loosing some of this weight I put on. I’d like to loose 20 lbs overall and gain back some strength I’ve lost. Go ahead and add me. I need some accountability and can offer that up to anyone else that needs it too.

I'd love to throw a rock through my glass house..but eating my way through Japan sounds like a pretty good idea. You can drop that 20 and learn to pace yourself. At least you'll know where the good stuff is on your cheat day. :)

Yeah the problem is there are still new KitKat flavors I haven’t tried yet. And many many more foods. I have a real problem saying no. But I’m working on it!

Anyone that doesn't try all the new to them foods in Japan is really missing out.

But in the end the only thing that works is some sort of moderation in doing so. Eat a little less of some of those foods you already know, then break you off a piece of that Kit Kat bar. And depending on how much and what type of workouts you do, sometimes those little indulgences are balanced out by exercise anyway.

I can’t blame you! Japan is on my bucket list and mostly because of food! Maybe you can try just 1 new KitKat flavor a week lol.
