Finally ready to lose the weight knowing my “WHY”!

Hi MFP Community!
I am finally doing this for real this time!!!
I think the problem has always been the lack of vision and clarity as to why I want and need to loose weight. I have yo-yo’ed between 155-205 and as I get out of my 20’s the pounds just don’t come off the same as they used to. I am currently 190 lbs and have a goal to lose 33lbs and bring my BFP below 25% for overall health concerns. I know it won’t be easy but I’m committed to doing this for me and marking myself a priority for the first time.
Just looking to be held accountable and drop 1-2 lbs a week with 5 days a week in the gym.

Wishing you luck. Read the stickies on how to get started. Best advice and you will see it over and over. Buy a food scale, weigh everything solid before you eat it. Log all food everyday. Those two items have helped me so much. Cuz i can say with first hand knowledge it gets even harder the older one is. But it will come off. Good Luck!0

Hi Bri! I just joined yesterday for similar reasons! I just turned 30 and gained 25 pounds this year. I want to head in to my 30s strong and healthy! Good luck to you!0

Awesome! You can do it! Two challenges here that have really kept me accountable are the Ultimate Accountability Challenge and The Biggest Loser (several teams compete against each other for percentage and weight lost).
