Perfectly fine to eat bread.
I personally have mine covered in almond butter0 -
Getting "toned" is going to require resistance exercises. Losing weight comes down to a calorie deficit and if avoiding bread allows you to maintain that deficit then great.0

I eat bread every day. It hasn't hampered my weight loss at all. If it fits into your calories, enjoy!
As for toning up, that's a separate issue not related to bread consumption.0 -
To lose weight you need to eat at a calorie deficit, with or without bread.
To build muscle, you need to focus on strength training and get enough protein, with or without bread.
In other words, the bread doesn't matter, unless it causes you to overeat0
