Intermittent fasting

I’m 5’4 and currently fluctuating around 109-114 lbs. I’ve been restricting my calorie intake for a while, eating around 1000 calories a day. Now I’m doing a bit more extreme because my weight plateaued. I take regular supplements and I’ve started doing a lot more excersize. I never binge eat, so i was wondering what’s the issue of restricting calories if I never binge eat/I’m cutting on sugar and carbs and eating mostly protein and fat. Kinda like a keto diet but not. Intermittent fasting. That stuff. I was wondering why it’s so bad considering I’m not underweight or nutrient deprived or binging.

I do not have the weight charts memorized but you have to be toward the bottom range of your healthy weight.
If you are exercising while eating very low calories you are depriving your body of energy which will lead to you being malnourished regardless of the types of calories you eat.
You need to stop. If you cannot stop see a doctor as this may be a sign of disordered eating.2 -

For 5'4, under 110 is considered underweight. Depending on your body structure, even the lower end of the healthy weight range can be problematic.
Calories are fuel for your body. It uses that fuel to beat your heart, breathe, repair your cells, grow your hair. If you don't give it enough fuel, it will try to burn energy stores in your body. And the lighter you are, the more likely it will either start to burn muscle along with a little fat, or stop doing some of the stuff it needs to do.
As I believe I mentioned in your other thread, you really need to speak to a therapist about your psychological relationship with your weight and your body. You have some dangerous ideas about what is healthy. Eating only 1000 calories and doing a lot of exercise is NOT healthy. Please take care of yourself.4
