Hey girls...
need some advice in what you do during the "dreaded time"
I do really well for 3 weeks food and exercise and have a really good feeling about myself and then suddenly when approaching my due time its like a dark cloud comes over me and i feel so miserable and my kids think i'm moody and snappy and i just can;t cheer up and also i just eat eat eat eat and eat some more... my mood is so bad the willpower can;t get through...
do any of you take supplements to help with this and incredible urge to eat??
thanks in advance.xxx

My periods are hell on earth. So I usually schedule an impromptu free day or two, food wise, take a break from exercising for a couple of days, and just coddle myself. If I'm able, I try to eat foods high in protein, iron, and calcium. I might be over-eating, but at least I'm getting in a few healthy shots while I'm at it.0

I typically have trouble controlling my hunger around that time as well...
so I drink a TON of water and keep all unhealthy snacks out of the house.
If you're going to go over on calories, it may as well be on fruits and veggies.0 -
Some months are worse then others for me. I just work a little harder and if I go over goal then I go over. I will pretty much eat ANYTHING that is edible. Its scary That said I do the shopping at the moment and I don't buy anything at that time that is considered junk! I try to swop chocolate out for fruits too! I also drink LOTS of water!!!0

I took evening primrose tablets and drank lots of water. A good B complex helped too. I have never eliminated any food, so I'll give in to my salty/sweet craving with chips and a candy bar....but I no longer eat the entire thing at once0
