Today I am focusing on making healthy choices/trade offs with my meals. I will take a walk around my work building today, too.

Hi! I came on the boards looking for motivation and support. I really liked your message! It was a reminder to take things day by day....not be discouraged and to keep going....just for today.
I began at 180 on September 8th. I lost 6 pounds and 4 inches one month later thru hard work and I was thrilled. I weigh myself at my gym every 10 days and on my last weigh in day....I had gained 2 pounds. Weigh in day is Tuesday and I am afraid of the result. I haven't been working as hard. JUST FOR TODAY I am going to do my minimum workout, log my calories, drink my water and ONLY focus on now. Not panic over perceived failure. I'll take my measurements too. Maybe I have lost one or two inches. Thank you for the positive message. I'll check in periodically with success in losses and when I need a reminder to focus JUST FOR TODAY.2 -
I had a successful day thanks to your post. JUST FOR TODAY I did better than I have in at least 2 weeks. I logged all my calories and ate very healthy...no snacking at all. I drank my minimum MFP amount of 65 oz of water.....3 water bottles full. Still off my 5 when I was very diligent but meeting my MFP goal! Finally, I got in my minimum workout...my first exercise day in several. It is 5 minutes on the eleptical machine and a minute of upper arm work. I am committed to a 12 week exercise program. A couple of days at the gym and when I can't make it, the eleptical at home. 5 minutes to start....add 5 minutes each week...reach one hour in 12 weeks. If I hadn't seen your post I would have done much worse....so thank you!0
