Well my weight went back down again at least! Definitely going to join the 5 pound challenge and get out of the 180’s

I love it, @laurenebargar; you're down a solid 2 pounds. Think what we might have been had we not walked through this challenge together, and instead just accepted what we got. We've purposed to lose and we did. Congratulations!

    Goal weight 177.6

November 10 179.4 down 2.2 (my scale seems to jump around a lot, up one day down the next)
    November 11 179.2 down .02, down 2.4 total
    November 12 179.0 down .02, down 2.6 total
November 13 179.4 up .04, down 2.2 total. Leaving for China
November 14 179.3 down .01, down 2.3 total. In China now - no weighing, but adding a "hoped for" weight, just to keep me logging in.
November 15 179.2 down .01, down 2.4 total. In China now - no weighing, but adding a "hoped for" weight, just to keep me logging in.
November 16 China - no weighing
    November 17 Returning Home
November 18 177.0 GOAL REACHED, down 4.6 total. On this trip to China I had a Big Mac one day and a pizza another day, but exercised well and did not exceed calorie budget on any day.
    November 19 175.8, down 5.8 total.
    November 20 176.4 down 5.3 total
November 21 176.6 down 5.1 total (away tomorrow and the next day to Canada, will weigh on 24th).

    November 23
    November 24 175.4 down 6.3 total
    November 25 176.2 down 5.5 total

    Total Lost: 5.5

Well that was my final weighing day on this challenge. Goal was to lose 4 pounds and I lost 5.5.

I hope you guys are down some, even if not the full 4 pounds. Anytime we lose we have not only counteracted the tendency to go the wrong way, we are moving in the right direction. So I view any loss at all as an excellent win!

Now we're on to the 5 pounds in 5 weeks over the holidays challenge. Come and join us!

@cosmo30, That loss is a huge win! I always like to consider what this loss really accomplished:

    1) You turned away from bad habits that make us gain.
    2) You employed new, good habits that helped you lose.
    3) You showed that you can stick with it over an extended period of time.
    4) You refused to believe the lies that you can't do this, or that it won't work.
    5) You didn't let the days that the scale went up derail you.

You did all this not perfectly, but progressively. That's what we're after. Very well done, @cosmo30!

Thanks for your kind and inspiring words! This challenge got me through stressful week - I didn't reach for treats during stressful days because of the daily weigh-in.
