New to the area. I was sick this past year with a form of a brain disease and gained 40lbs. I am somewhat better now. However the damage has left me very anxious.

That being said I am looking to meet like minded ppl in the area for friendship. I want to go see Joker! And the sights of Louisiana with someone like minded about food/fitness.

I am 42 and one of my fave health activities is walking! My dog especially.

So mainly just looking for other signs of life. My family is back in NH.

I am tired of people trying to decide for me, or make comments on my "safety". Am I not a culpable adult? Capable of determining and making safe decisions? I am tired of unsolicited advice.

So, unless perhaps you live in my area and are interested in a new friend, advice not needed. I am not rude, I am a bold spoken human with a vagina attached to it, people seem to think this requires a level of politeness/advice/safety that I am not already "aware" of.

I am now 43. I have arrived at 43 intact. using the internet and such. Thank you for your concern.
