Getting into it

I'm not great at introductions so don't mind me if I sound robotic.
I've been on this roller coaster of weight and fitness for the last 6 years; and frankly, I'm ready to get off. I'm 34 and heading down the wrong path of gluttony and laziness. So I'm here, looking for others that find the motivation/determination difficult.
The words are easy. I'm working on the action.

Setting mile goals each week (running). Tracking my food. And remembering that consistancy is the key. I want to get back into the gym, but that's step 2.

Consistency is the key to it all, even tracking your food consistently. Good luck1

Feel free to join us in the monthly running challenge thread! It’s a good group of people, and there’s no set goal or level of fitness - you set your own mileage goal and then post your progress. Being around other runners, even in an online space, helps keep me consistent.
Best of luck to you in finding something that will work long term and getting off the roller coaster!1
