my husband and i have been married for almost a year. he's in the air force. next month he'll be going to las vegas for 2 weeks. suddenly i'm freaking out! i realize it's only 2 weeks and it's only vegas, but i'm really scared. i thought i had dealt with the fact that he could be deployed at any time for any length of time. i really don't know how to deal with it. i've just been putting it out of my head, but the closer it gets the more i can feel the fear welling up inside me.
any advice?

I live in Las Vegas and Nellis Air Force Base is decent, it's situated in the north east side of town. I don't know what you're afraid of while he's in town but you can rest assure that all of Vegas isn't like The Strip0

well, i'll have to admit i'm afraid of him cheating. like i said, we haven't been married long, and we really haven't been apart. he did mention that he plans on going to the strip once he gets there. maybe i'm being silly...0

Stay strong! If you need someone to vent to we are always here.
Tell your husband thank you for serving our country~:flowerforyou:0 -
As a military wife myself I know how you feel. My husband is on his 3rd tour to Iraq, he is in the Army National Guard and has been in the military for 14 years. Deployments are something you get used too! Stay strong and trust is the most important thing. Two weeks isn't long at all!!! Before you know it he will be home and with you and your baby.

My advice: talk to HIM. and my grown up advice-whip it on him:devil: 2 weeks isn't very long. Give him something to remember and dream about and talk and write about to YOU. Do something adventurous. He won't be able to wait to get back to you. Now that said, cheating isn't normally anything to do with what the spouse will/won't do. You guys have trust and love-then you have everything and you will be fine. A man/woman doesn't even need an hour to cheat so don't worry. Plus everyone knows all the escorts on the strip have herpes, at least that is the rumor I'd be spreading tee-hee! Nah just kidding but they are all men in drag
Plus if you can budget it maybe you can fly down towards the end for a couple days get away and he can show you the sites. There are packages under $300 bucks to Vegas for 2-3 day get aways.0
