To make it simple just answer with 1) or 2)

1)Must you always upload your data from your arm band through your computer for it to be uploaded onto the website? (eg it basically just turns your armband into a fancy display for the current day.)

OR

2) Is it the case that when you update with your phone the website is also updated. But it's only the website that accumulates the information.

Uploading with your phone will update the site, also as long as you are "live" on your phone it will display up to the minute stats.

Yeah, I don't really understand what you're saying in #1, because the armband can't view anything at all. The data is stored on your armband. The app on your phone allows you to upload the data from your armband so that it is viewable on the website. The app also shows a subset of what is viewable on the website.

You can upload the data from the armband from either the computer or the phone. Both will display the same information on the website.
