How to determine activity level?

I feel as if it is giving me too little calories each day, and I feel like part of that might be due to not understanding the fitness level. I work about 20 HRs a week (like, 4 5HR days) as a cashier/waitress, and a good amount is moving around. Wiping down tables, taking out the trash, picking up heavy buckets/stacks of trays, ect. I actively break a sweat at work, on most days. I’m also 4’10 and so, small, so a lot of things are even more of a challenge. I’m being told to eat 1,350 calories a day and that just isn’t enough for me, especially on days when I work. What should I do?

So try raising your activity level for a few weeks and see how that goes.

Please, Google "Total daily energy expenditure calculator". There you will find several different calculators that will tell you, what amounts of calories you need each day. Utilize 5-6 different calculators, then average the calories together to get a more exacting figure. Use those calories in this app in the logging section and you will be rocking it!

What activity level did you actually pick?

What is happening to your weight? Is your weight trend in line with whatever your goal is for your weight which could be up, down or stay the same?

Not enough calories in what regard? Excessively hungry? Low on energy? Both?

Do you do any purposeful exercise as opposed to normal activity suxh as working and household chores etc.? If you do are you logging that and eating back those calories on top of your non-exercise day allowance?
