Weird question about workout leggings

So I wore a pair of workout leggings that have gotten a little tighter now thanks to weight gain, and they tend to have this lifting effect. I come home and take off the leggings and see all these rolls of fat around my waist that weren't there this morning? Although I am at the same weight? The only other reason I can think of is my period is around the corner. I also was on a fast today so cannot think of water weight from food. Has anyone experienced this?

Gravity. It happens without the leggings, too. To me anyway.

It wasn't the leggings, don't worry about that. You're right - probably pre-period bloat. Being a woman can be rough.

Sure! I'm also 2# lighter in the morning, than I am after eating two meals and drinking about a gallon of water. Then while I sleep, (laying down) all the water gets evenly distributed through my body. I look best at about 6:00 am. After that, low blood pressure and a day of sedentary office work nearly guarantees that all the water in me will have settled to my ankes and waist and wherever it could possibly get stuck while I was sitting at my desk for 8 hours. :/ It's even WORSE on long road trips, and as someone else pointed out, yet worse still during PMS week. >_<

Fat is squishy, it's gonna squish around, especially if there's a chunk of water weight included. Standing all day after lying down all night makes a difference as to where fat shifts. Obviously it's not floating around willy-nilly, but just like you can take a chunk and go ~squish~, gravity can as well.
