thought those of us, that fit this narrative, could add each other as a way compare our progress. ive been fat all my life with depression and other issues. tryin to get more serious about it by trackin my food. hence why im on here lol. could even be like a friendly rivalry. we all know how middle aged men try to reclaim some part of their youth. competition can be a great way to do this. just dont get carried away lol
also im obese startin this run at 226pds

I fit this narrative ... Been overweight for many years now. I got started with MFP about a year ago and have been getting better at tracking more consistently and accurately. Still, it's taking time.
I've been able to see how different foods have effected me. Or how just he volume of food has effected me. Tracking has been an eye opener to better understand portion sizes. Overall, it's proving to be a good experience.
Today's weigh-in puts me at 234 lbs0 -
my ocd seems to n=be locked into tacking my food intake for now. hope it lasts awhile. interesting to see it all in numbers. makes it more real0
