I started working out 2 weeks ago. I do yoga 1-2x a week, a dumbbell arm workout with 5lb weights 2x a week, a leg workout 2x a week and a full body/ab workout with a 8lb kettleball 1-2x a week. So far my weight hasn’t changed since I started.

Are you logging your food and hitting your calorie goal?
How many lbs total do you need to use?
Unless you have a lot to lose, 1 lb per week is more or less what you could aim for. Water weight swings of several lbs can hide fat loss on the scale for days or weeks at a time, and can be caused by new exercise, dietary changes, and hormonal fluctuations.

Weight loss happens in the kitchen. Fitness happens in the gym. If you want to lose weight, set up your stats in MFP, set for 1 lb week, and follow the calorie goal it gives you. Buy a food scale and weight and log all your food. Continue the workouts to aid with muscle retention as you lose pounds.5

weight loss is very difficult through exercise alone. You should see results in strength and endurance gains. Combining cardio, resistance training and a good diet plan is the most effective strategy for overall health, and of course weight management.0
