Just wondering can you drink a six pack of light beer a week and still lose weight as long as you're counting calories and working out?

Psycho my friend, you are going to make a face at this... it's good, honest. It's like beer flavoured La Croix

Yes, as long as you account for the calories, it'll work fine. Depending on your calorie goal, it may be more difficult to fit in the beer, get good nutrition, and also feel full/satisfied, all at the same time, realistically. If you prefer light beer, that makes it a little easier.
I really like beer. IPA, and other craft beer, more than light beer, so more calories. I drank some, even while losing weight. If I counted the calories, my losses were as expected.
If the beer is really important to you, some things that may help work it out are:
* avoiding trying to lose weight super fast (maybe pick 0.5-1 pound a week as your loss rate goal, not 2 pounds a week) so you have more calories available to cover essential nutrition and feel full,
* trying to find some form of exercise you enjoy to add some extra calories you can eat/drink,
* keeping active in your daily life outside of exercise (same reason), and
* looking at your calorie goal as an average over the week (especially if you tend to want to drink more beer on the weekend and less during the week, or something like that.).
One thing to know is that some people expect their macros (fats, protein, carbs) to balance arithmetically with their calories. Alcohol isn't a normal macro (not one of those three), but still has calories (about 7 calories per gram of alcohol). If this paragraph totally doesn't make sense to you, don't worry about it.
Best wishes!

A light beer has about 100 calories per bottle. So a six pack a week is 600 calories a for the week. You can certainly have that if it's something you enjoy. You just have to fit it in your calorie goal, the same as if it was a banana or taco.
Personally I rarely drink anymore except for special occasions, as I prefer to save my calories for food. But there are plenty of people who drink in moderation and still have successful weight loss.10 -
@CassieJones104 What is your daily (or weekly) calorie goal?
I don't drink light beer. I prefer craft beer, and right now one of my favorite seasonal offerings is out -- Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. A pint is just under 300 calories. That's about 15% of my daily calorie allowance on non-exercise days. A light beer is closer to 100 calories. That's about the same as a tablespoon of peanut butter.
Only YOU can tell if it will fit. I bet it will. Let us know!1 -
I love beer lmao. I just watch my calories when I do drink.2

Never light beer. Lawson's sip of sunshine for me....comes in around 250 calories 16oz can. Yes, you can drink beer and lose weight. Just factor it all in and enjoy!3

You can lose weight drinking good beer every day too.
Also, me irl:

You can and I certainly did, as long as you're accounting for it in your calorie goals. I did more cardio during the week to burn more calories so I could have some room for beer on the weekends.2

Yup, that's the benefit of tracking calories - you can include things like alcohol without worrying if you're going over or not. I have a little trouble with alcohol because it makes me want to eat, but otherwise it's all good to enjoy a little alcohol. Do the things you will want to do while still losing - consider weight loss time as practice for maintenance.2

My MFP and Untappd records say yes.3

In theory the answer is always yes. In practice it depends on whether or not you are managing your hunger well enough in a calorie deficit to also include drinking a portion of your daily/weekly calories.1 -

<snip quip image, for length>
Yeahbut if you take that too far, they only serve you the 4oz "child's portion".
(4oz bourbon barrel aged imperial stouts, one hazelnut/cocoa/vanilla, one heavy toasted coconut, both 14.5% ABV.)
OP, I drank those both, and ate some fries with lots of catsup (in a context of overall appropriate calories and reasonable overall nutrition, I hasten to add), and am still expecting to continue achieving my current objective of ultra-slow loss, half a pound a week or less, here in almost year 5 of maintenance, currently at BMI 22-point-something. Enjoy your beer in moderation, eat the right number of calories, get decent nutrition, and you'll be fine.5 -

My go-to when it's going to be a lower calorie beer is Guinness Draught. It still tastes like something.3
