    Sure. You can set your macros however you want (in 5% increments in the free app, more granular in premium).

    The only complication is making sure you check your foods' accuracy the first time you log them, using a known accurate source (such as food label, USDA), because the MFP food database is crowd sourced. (Sometimes people enter inaccurately, sometimes foods or labeling laws differ by country (wrt to gross vs. net carbs being on label, for example), etc.).

    Once you log a food, it stays in your recent/frequent foods and will come up first, as long as you eat it often enough that other, more frequent, foods don't knock it off your list. So, the verifying foods thing is mostly a start-up issue, and all of us need to do it if we care about the accuracy of calories or other nutrients.
