New member trying keto diet

Hi, sorry for the weird name--I couldn't find one that wasn't taken. I started the keto diet on 12/1/2019 and have lost seven pounds in ten days, though I'm not yet in ketosis (I think). I am missing a gall bladder, so this is an experiment to see if I can assimilate all the fats on keto. I'm shocked at how many hidden carbs are in foods. I thought I was eating healthy before (almost vegetarian, with a little meat), and I rarely if ever indulged in carbs like sweets, etc., though occasionally I would have noodles or rice noodles. I'm interested in finding others doing the keto diet to see how we do and what recipes we use. This week, to lost the weight, I've cooked broccoli cheddar with mussels soup; cream of mushroom soup; cauliflower with sausage and chicken soup; and a slow-cooked beef roast with buttered mushrooms. All of these are homemade. Please write and let me know how you're doing!
