Sodium & fat loss

In this diet i’ll be starting after my “bulk” so to say, I realized I’ll be consuming more sodium than I do now. I usually have around 1500 mg of sodium & my new diet will have around 2000 mg. Will I even be able to see my fat loss when i’m holding more water with this sodium?

Sodium doesn't have anything to do with fat loss. It also doesn't even affect water that much at incremental increases. Maybe you'll hold a tiny amount of extra water weight from increased sodium intake, but it will not affect your fat loss progress or you being able to see it on the scale when you progress6

My normal intake is 1500-2500 mg of sodium. If I have a very high day (3000+), I MAY see a pound up on the scale, but sometimes I see no difference or even a drop.
I doubt such a small increase will even be noticable, unless you have some specific medical condition.2
