Yes, will power! Unless others are forcibly shovelling food in ya mouth...
Nobody can make that change for you unfortunately.1 -
Go get a checkup and get your blood tested. Start there and then you'll have a baseline to work with.0

When you say over eating. Are you talking about portion size, too many times per day, what you choose to overeat?
Have you figured out based on age, height, weight that you currently are. How much weight you would like to lose per week and input that information into MFP? So you get an idea of how many calories per day based on your lifestyle of lightly active, moderately active etc you should be consuming?
To figure how to stop overeating, you need to understand quite a bit of information. Along with why you choose to overeat. There is no magic pill, or words to make it stop.0 -
Keep overeating, just eat carrots instead of chips, baked potatoes instead of fries, grilled chicken instead of fast food burgers, fruit instead of ice cream and candy bars. Eat lots of salad and veggies.
Drink water and low or no calorie drinks instead of higher calorie drinks like soda pop and sugary juice drinks.
When you find you are satisfied with less food, decide which foods are important, and in what amounts.
Logging in MFP will help you to decide which foods are worth the calories and which aren’t.
Many people find that when they eat more protein and/or fat, they crave sugary snack foods less. Try it for yourself. It may or may not help you.
To lose weight, you need to eat fewer calories, not less food.3 -
Logging food in MFP is simple and definitely helps me stay on track. Overeating can be fueled by emotional unrest.
Increasing protein and the good fats and removing the simple carbs of white flour and sugar, and drinking water make it easier to consume less. Portion control is a helpful tool. Will power does not work all the time for everyone. Just don't give up even if you fail, keep on trying most things take practice and repeating often before being successful.1 -
find out what your demons are feeding on then starve them😉0
