Your calorie goal is set calculated based on your MFP settings:
    - your height
    - your weight
    - your gender
    - your activity level
    - your weight loss (or maintenance or weight gain) goal

This number will also change when you log exercise and/or if you have an activity tracker linked to MFP.

Sidenote: some people find it necessary to re-enter/confirm their settings occasionally when they have lost weight. Your calorie goal should go down as your weight goes down (a smaller body burns less calories) but sometimes MFP doesn't adapt the calorie goal automatically.

It based it off of who you told MFP you are (age, gender, weight, height, and activity level) and the rate of loss or gain that you told MFP you wanted to have each week.

What is your current weight/height/gender? What did you specify for your weight loss goal per week?

    From the Help section......

    https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032625391-How-does-MyFitnessPal-calculate-my-initial-goals-

If you find 1,680 as a goal for a non-exercise day surprising perhaps you could say why?
