What am I doing wrong ;-(

Hello, I just can't understand what I should be doing as far as "eating the calories I'm burning off" and from what info I am supplying does it look like I'm on the right track? I just can't lose my belly/hip fat at all.

I am 5' 1" 115lbs, decent amount of muscle in arms and legs, all my flab is in my hips and stomach, I eat very healthy.

I'm starting to have a lot of trouble with losing any weight.
I started hitting the gym in Feb. 2013 at 120lbs and I am now at 115 lbs, but I'm not as concerned with the number on the scale as I know a lot is muscle, I can see it, I just have not lost anything on my hips and stomach at all like 0%, and I would think after 6 months at least there would have been a little change???

I would like to get to 110lb, I am currently eating 1800 calories a day in 95% healthy foods, I go to the gym for 1 hour and 10 mins burning approx. 400 calories 6 days a week first thing in the am. So 1800 minus my 400 for the gym, I am sitting at 1400 for probably 3 days of the week. With that being said about 4 days of the week I don't eat quite the 1800, more like 1600, minus the 400 for the gym which puts me at 1200 for the day. At the gym I do 30-40 mins of hard cardio and then lift weights. I also walk 1.6 miles briskly to work and back home total of 3.2 miles a day. I also get a good 7 hrs of sleep a night.

I work in a meat dept. and do a lot of lifting and physical labour work 5 days a week.

My usual eating habits are:
I don't eat much breads, rices, pastas, zero pop or sugary drinks and I am addicted to steamed veggies with garlic powder and hemp/flax seeds!, also drink 100% just water. Very light on dairy, I eat 2 hard boiled eggs in the am but only 1 egg yolk, and 1 tbsp. peanut butter in the am. A multigrain pita with tonnes of veggies for lunch, and for dinner; usually a good portion of meat and 2/3 rds of my plate with steamed veggies. Snacks are usually fruit with yogurt and flax/hemp seeds, almonds/seeds.
I am never really deprived or hungry, but I do occasionally feel a little light headed, I drink prob 6 glasses of water a day so I do feel quite bloated alot though.

I also have a protein shake 8 out of 10 times after going to the gym in the am. I use the app LOSE IT on the iPhone and keep track 100% everything weather its good or bad.

Not sure if this helps but my BMR is 1171 and TDEE is 1815

Please if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

With 5 lbs to lose your deficit may be too big. Perhaps try setting your loss per week goal to .5 lbs and eat at the goal it gives you. MFP has the deficit built into the daily goal number. If you're not eating back at least a portion of your exercise calories that deficit gets to be too large.

    Agreed.

Also, if you don't do it already, I would invest the $15 in a good digital scale to accurately measure your food. You might be surprised how different your 1TBSP of peanut butter is from a weighed gram-accurate serving. It can make a big difference if you're compounding errors for calorie dense foods. A swing either way (overestimating or underestimating) could be equally detrimental to your diet, especially with the thin margin you are above what might be undereating for your activity.

What herblackwings and Morebean said. Also...are you doing your cardio prior to your lifts? If so, change at around and do it after you lift

Thanks for the replies/ideas. I have a scale and do use it very often, I do also measure/count items I'm eating example: one serving of bran flakes measured ect... I do cardio before weights usually, but upon the suggestion ill try changing it up. I also don't just do the same thing everytime I always use all the machines at the gym I like/ hate the all the same lol. I am snacking on healthy snacked every 1.5-2 hours also (my husband and coworkers bug me for constantly eating lol) but they are small snacks, a small banana ,or a 35 cal yogurt ect..
Is it possible I'm under eating though???
