So losing weight comes down to getting in a deficit over time, not about eating really small and unappetizing meals. What is your total intake? At your size, you can probably eat a fairly reasonable amount of calories

Six pounds a week? So you're going to be at a 21,000 calorie deficit a week?

Reality check: a healthy weekly weight loss goal is no more than 1% of your body weight each week.

Is it possible for someone to have water weight fluctuations (low carb especially) of 6 pounds the first week? Sure, but this is NOT fat loss, and it's not something that repeats week after week.

For fat loss you need a sustained calorie deficit, but not so steep as to encourage lean muscle loss. Lowering your body fat % is healthy weight loss.

Put in your current weight, height, activity level, etc. into My Fitness Pal. Choose no more than 2 pounds a week (1.5 pounds is better). Eat food you like, log it. The key is portion control. Frozen dinners are fine in a pinch, but also learn about your "regular" foods too, because maintenance will also take work.
