Paprika peppers

My parents just came back from Germany and gifted me a ring or "necklace" of dried paprika peppers. The cookbook they gave me isn't food I'd eat, I don't eat much meat, mainly chicken breasts, white turkey meat, and fish. I've found a vegan Hungarian goulash recipe that uses paprika and potatoes that looks good. I know smoked paprika is good in split pea. I just crumbled one in my black bean sweet potato chili. Any other ideas? I have sweet paprika as well but am more curious about the peppers. In general I'm heavy handed with heat/spices. I'm also a newish cook so nothing too complicated! I mostly cook with my Instant pot, Dutch oven, and just got a cast iron skillet. I have a slow cooker around here somewhere.

I've used them in the past to make a Jambalaya soup. High in sodium, unfortunately, but a good rare treat. High in protein and loaded with veggies0

I've never made Jambalaya, I'll look into it, thanks!0
